e-Application
Applications are submitted online by the project director through the TÜBİTAK Management Information System (TYBS). The project director must verify that the files uploaded to the electronic application system have been opened and are accurate. The system will be closed to applications at the end of business hours (5:30 PM) on the application deadline. With the exception of online applications, documents sent to BİDEB via email, postal mail, or fax will not be evaluated and will be destroyed.
Individuals must guarantee that the information they enter into the system is accurate and that they will comply with program requirements. Educational information is displayed through online systems.
During the application process, academic advisor information is displayed through online systems. The academic advisor's information is first verified through YÖKSİS (Higher Education Information System) and then through TÜBİTAK ARBİS (Researcher Information System). Therefore, the academic advisor's information must be up-to-date in both systems.
Following the project director's final approval of the application through the system, the project application information and attachments are sent in read-only form to the academic advisor's registered email address for "advisor approval." At this stage, the academic advisor guarantees that the information entered by the project director is accurate, that they accept the advising, that the scientific and technological field in which the project will be evaluated is appropriate, that the department's resources are sufficient, and that they will comply with the program requirements.
If the academic advisor does not approve the project through the system (TÜBİTAK Management Information System) at this stage and returns it to the student, the student makes the necessary adjustments and resubmits the project to the academic advisor for approval.
If the academic advisor approves the project within the allotted timeframe, the application information will be sent to the project manager for signature by the institution representative at the student's university. The institution representative's signature (https://eimza.tubitak.gov.tr) will then be submitted to the application.
